New Project

Strawberry Banana Cake with Pearl Toppings.... Yuuuuum!

I've been baking a lot of cakes this summer, about one or two each week, and I found this picture of this delicious looking cake while stumbling. >w< I really don't know what the actual flavor is, so I've decided to try a new flavor of cake I haven't baked - - - STRAWBERRY BANANA!!! =D

I don't think I've ever tasted a strawberry-banana cake, but I figured it must taste good - I mean, look at the strawberry-banana smoothie~ > 3< it's my absolute favorite flavor. So hmmm... maybe this cake will will be tantalizing as well? No?

Anyway....

I googled the recipe and it actually looks quite simple. I have two choices to go about this:

1 - - - making everything homemade

2 - - - the easy way ;P

Homemade Ingredients:

- 2 cups Biscuit Mix (e.g. 1 box of Bisquick)
- 1/2 cups milk to 7/8, (7/8-1 C)
- 1 Extra large egg
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- 6 ounces of melted milk chocolate
- 1/2 pint of washed fresh strawberries
- 1 banana

doesn't seem too hard, but then again knowing myself... =.= I'll probably fudge it up... heehee no pun intended xD

Easy way Ingredients:

- 1 yellow cake mix --> I prefer to use Angel Cake
- 1 package of strawberry banana Jello --> how much easier can you get?
- 1 small package of instant pudding, French vanilla
- 1 {8 oz) of Cool Whip
- 1 cup of boiling water
-Bananas
-Strawberries
-1 can of strawberry soda

And of course to decorate the cake, I need other things... but I already have the pink frosting, cream cheese, and the edible pearls (which are organic!)

I'm excited for tomorrow, I can't wait to start baking this! ^-^
